Skin Care with Baie Botanique*

Finding new cruelty free beauty products is always excited, and recently I discovered Baie Botanique who kindly sent me their new Rose Renew range to try out. They sent me their regenerating face wash*, regenerating serum* and regenerating face cream*.

First off I tried out the face wash, it's designed to remove oil, makeup and debris, whilst also hydrating the skin. Like all the other products, it has a beautiful rose scent. I'm not the most keen on really scented products, but this is just the right amount of scent without being overwhelming. I have very sensitive skin but could use all of these without a problem! I used this to remove my terrible attempt at Halloween makeup which was very brightly coloured and involved primer, and it did it all in one go which was very impressive.

Each of the products tell you what % organic it is which is pretty cool, and also lists everything they don't have in them, which might seem an odd choice, but it so helpful! I'm always searching for paraben and sulphate free products, so this is really helpful. They also state that they are cruelty free and vegan which is key to my personal choices in beauty products.

The regenerating face cream is a moisturiser that also aims to protect the skin. I have exceedingly dry skin, so this doesn't quite cut it for me, however it has made a good addition into my skin care routine. I use my regular moisturiser first thing in the morning when I wake up, then use this just before I put on my makeup for extra softness. You don't need much product to go a long way and it rubs in without leaving a heavy residue on the skin, it feels really fresh and lovely.

The final product was the regenerating serum which is designed to aid in cell renewal and regeneration. The pump on the packaging is really easy to use, often I find them are a bit awkward in this design, but this isn't at all. All of the packaging is nice and sturdy. It has anti ageing properties, but as a 28 year old who has Botox for chronic migraines, I can't say my forehead or skin has particularly needed that just yet, so the effects on me aren't the most obvious. It does however leave my skin feeling lush, and can be used morning and night. The gel formula feels lovely and cool on the skin which is always a bonus!

I love finding new cruelty free products, and these are a really good find. The rose smell is everything.

Much love,
Kitty xxxx

  1. I think I need a regeneration serum. This sounds like good quality and a brand I've not tried yet.
