Vegan Cruelty Free Skincare With The Jojoba Company*

Tuesday, 7 June 2016

One of my very favourite things I've discovered in the last few years is Jojoba oil (pronounced ho-ho-ba). It has so many different uses, so when I got the chance to try out The Jojoba Company's new jojoba and rose hip oil* I couldn't resist.

First of all, how cute is this bottle? The brushed pink is just adorable. It also came in a really sweet mirror box but it got a bit bashed about in transport to me so didn't photograph well. Lemmy Katmister rather liked how shiny it was and helpfully bashed in a corner of it before I got chance to photograph it the naughty thing!

Jojoba is an incredible moisturiser, it is hypoallergenic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and so much more, you can read all about it here. It is full of vitamin A, D and E, as well as omega 6 & 9, properly good stuff. Rose hip oil is also full of lovely stuff making them a brilliant combination. Have you got stretched ears? Jojoba oil is the single best thing you could possibly use in your lobes to keep them healthy and avoid that stretched ear smell (you know the one I mean!)

It comes with a really handy dropper so help you only use the product you need which is fantastic, as you only need a couple of drops. This design helps stop you wasting any oil as a little truly does go a long long way. I use this oil on my lobes to keep them in tip-top shape as well as to moisture the really dry patches of skin I get on my face. I've used it on my eyelids as they get really dry and it's caused me no problems near my ultra sensitive eyes.

I really really love this product. It's pretty to look at which is always a bonus, and it does wonders for my skin and ears. Have you ever used jojoba oil? Let me know!

Much love,
Kitty xxxx

  1. I love jojoba oil. I first started using oils for skincare about 6-7years ago and jojoba was one oil I used in the oil cleansing method and it helped clear up my skin. I love oils and natural skincare x
