Tie Dye Madness

Thursday, 12 June 2014

So after I recently tie dyed an older dress of mine, I couldn't resist doing it again, to the same style dress but in a different colour! It's a dress from New Look from last year, it is no longer available so unfortunately I can't buy more of them.

This is how my dress started out, plain green all over. After tie dying, this is what it looks like!

So much more fun right?! When I tie dye I make sure to put twists and knots in basically all of the fabric for optimal patterns.

The full dress, please excuse my floor, we are in the midst of getting new windows and knocking down an old pond and the house is... interesting right now! I am really pleased with how it turned out :)

I tried to explain how the hem worked on the other blog, but this time I managed to get a photo, it's the same length front and back, I'm just leaning awkwardly to take the photo here.

I haven't dyed my hair recently as I am considering a return to a natural colour, so it's very faded and pastel right now. My eye makeup is, as ever, by Sugarpill. Their makeup is cruelty free and has amazing staying power, I can't recommend it enough.

A close up of the necklace, it's from Sugar & Vice and is their Mandala necklace. It's laser cut wood and the detail is incredible.

Isn't it gorgeous? I'm also wearing some of my favourite hoops, these turquoise hoops from Body Art Forms. These are so comfy, they are quite heavy but I don't really notice I'm even wearing them!

So yes, more tie dying adventutes, I'm kind of addicted.

Much love,
Kitty xxxxxx
