When it comes to being cruelty free, I think skin care is the hardest. There are a lot of makeup companies out there making products, but actual skin care itself can be a real struggle! I'm creeping my way to 30 and probably need to start taking better care of my skin. I still get spot break outs every month, I have darker patches of skin in places and it's also really dry, a great combination.
Eloquence Beauty were kind enough to send me some of their range to try out and I couldn't wait. It's base is sacha inchi oil, which is seed grown in Peru. I love trying out different oils for my skin and was fascinated to try this one.

Step One - Purifying Facial Cleanser* £7.99
Step Two - Firm & Tone Serum* £19.99
Step Three - Firming and Moisturing Eye Gel* £19.99
Step Four - Protect & Repair 24HR Cream* £14.99
This is their full four step skin care routine. It comes in these cute lime green and white boxes with silver font, I love the bright colour! A lot of beauty products are kind of boring to look at, but these are really pretty.
And inside the actual products come in these fab green and silver packages. I love them! The silver makes them look really funky when combined with the green. Steps one, two and four come in this style of packaging.
The eye gel comes in a more traditional tube style packaging which works really well for applying it. I'd happily have these displayed on my bathroom shelf or in my bedroom.
I wanted to use it for at least a week before I reviewed it so I could truly let you guys know what I felt it did. The cleanser was a little tricky to get out of it's packaging to begin with. I kept pumping it and nothing was happening, I had to operate it upside down to get it to work properly. It had a pleasant tingle to it that really made your skin feel clean. You don't need much of any of the products to really get them to go a long way, but I do think I needed slightly more than the 'pearl' sized amount they recommended.
The firming product definitely made my skin feel firmer immediately, and not in an unpleasant way. I still felt like my skin had plenty of movement, it was just tauter.
The eye gel is my favourite of the four steps, I really felt like my eyes perked up immediately. I always struggle with puffiness and black bags and it's coolness helped right away. My eyes are incredibly sensitive and I had no problems with this at all. The application was really easy to use as well, you squeeze a little bit out onto the nib and apply it directly to the under eye using that nib. Super handy!
24 hour cream is a new product for me, I usually just use a straight up moisturiser because I have such dry skin. I'm not sure this would be strong enough for me to use as a replacement for a good moisturiser in the mornings, but my skin felt much fresher for using it at night.
Nourishing Treatment Oil* £29.99
The final product I had to try out was the one I was most intrigued by. This oil is designed to be used on hair, skin and nails, and I put it straight in my hair. I recently had my hair coloured for the first time in almost 3 years and after being bleached my hair needed some TLC. It only needs one or two drops to get really good coverage in your hair, I put it through my mid-lengths and ends and my hair is about bra strap length, so this will last a long while!
It comes in the same style packaging as the others so they make a cute collection together. I've also been using this on my nails and cuticles because they aren't in the best shape right now. My nails have been peeling slightly and needed some love, and I am terrible for not looking after my cuticles. My nails looked instantly better for using this, the slightly peeled bits lapped up the oil! They clearly needed all the essential oils contained inside.
I have seriously sensitive skin and allergies, and I didn't have any reactions to any of these products at all! That literally never happens to me. I can't even use makeup remover without my eyes swelling up, even when it is billed as for sensitive skin. I really liked the combination of these products and will be gutted when I run out of them. You can buy the whole set of these together for a reduced price of £75 here.
No artificial colours, scents, or parabens, and all cruelty free, I look fordward to seeing what Eloquence Beauty do next!
Much love,
Kitty xxx

Totally agree, skin care is the hardest to find in the cruelty-free world. I've just been trialling the Ark range though, which is great! I don't think I've ever come across this brand before. I love the packaging and the eye gel sounds like my cup of tea. I'll have to check it out :)!
